Welcome to the official Rules and Guidelines page for the Famous Art Gallery's National Level Art Carnival. To ensure a fair, transparent, and smooth experience for all participants, we request you to read these guidelines carefully before submitting your artwork.
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: The competition is open to all Indian citizens residing within the 28 States and 8 Union Territories.
- Age Limit: Participants must fall into one of our four designated age groups: Kid's Artist (2-9 Years), Children's Artist (9-17 Years), Young Artist (18-35 Years), or Master Artist (36-80 Years).
- Verification: The management reserves the right to ask for a valid age and address proof (Aadhar Card, Birth Certificate, etc.) during the verification process.
2. Theme and Medium
- Theme: The official theme for the current season is "Open Theme". Participants are free to choose any subject matter that inspires them.
- Mediums: We accept over 30+ mediums including Pencil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil, Charcoal, Digital Art, Photography, and traditional Indian folk arts (Madhubani, Warli, Pichwai, etc.).
- AI Art: Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated art is strictly prohibited in traditional categories. AI Art must only be submitted under the specific "AI Art" category.
3. Artwork Submission Guidelines
Your artwork must be submitted digitally via our official portal. Please adhere to the following specifications:
- Format: High-resolution JPEG or PNG files only.
- File Size: The image size should not exceed 10 MB. Ensure the lighting is clear and the artwork is the primary focus of the image.
- No Watermarks: The submitted image must be free of any digital watermarks, logos, or identifying text. Only the artist's physical signature on the artwork is allowed.
- Originality: The artwork must be 100% originally created by the participant. Submitting someone else's work will lead to immediate disqualification.
4. Plagiarism & Disqualification
Famous Art Gallery has a Zero Tolerance Policy towards plagiarism.
- All submissions are run through a strict verification process. If an artwork is found to be copied from the internet, another artist, or copyrighted material, the entry will be rejected.
- Submitting adult, offensive, or politically derogatory content will result in an immediate ban.
- Registration fees are non-refundable in the event of disqualification due to a rule violation.
5. Judging Criteria
Our national jury panel will evaluate entries based on the following criteria, out of a total of 100 points:
- Creativity & Concept (40 Points): Originality of thought and unique approach to the open theme.
- Technical Skill (40 Points): Command over the chosen medium, neatness, and artistic technique.
- Overall Impact (20 Points): The emotional resonance and visual appeal of the artwork.
6. Results and Awards
- Results will be published officially on our website and social media handles on the designated date (Refer to the Timeline section).
- The decision of the jury is final and binding. No correspondence regarding the evaluation process will be entertained.
- Physical rewards (Trophies, Medals, Hardcopy Certificates) will be dispatched to the postal address provided at the time of registration. Please ensure your address is complete with the correct PIN code.
7. Rights of Use
While the copyright of the artwork remains entirely with the artist, by submitting your entry, you grant Famous Art Gallery the right to display, publish, and promote your artwork on our website, social media, and digital magazines for promotional purposes.
